Laser Transparency [SOLVED]

Post by edge123455 »

So I am trying to figure out how to make my laser ordances 100% without transparency. For instance, the laser ordance for the rebel rifle has some transparency. I can see through the white beam of the energy bolt itself.
I have played around with all the laser ordance values from laser glow color and blur values. I also played around with the alpha values of the glow color. But i can still see trough the white part of the laser beam. I also have looked at other examples from vehicles and units.

The lasers' textures are all a tad transparent. Each one is called "com_sfx_laser_color.tga", replacing "color" with the color of the texture, and they are all located in "Data_ABC\Common\effects\". Keep in mind that if you edit them, you will need to create a custom ingame.lvl if you want them to actually work in-game, though doing so isn't difficult.
