I was just on GWL, and I was checking the map list for the 1v1 Infantry Ladder, and I found Rhen Var (both eras) and Kamino: Tipoca City, and I think you know what era's there.
It also said those maps require the Conversion Pack, so I think it's stating to pick up with the mainstream.

Uh, haven't you heard of it? It's the Global Warfighter League. That's the site to go for COMPETITIONS (ok ok, so I say that in caps now) for quite a handful of games including Battlefront II. I had to sign up there for GFAQ clan matches, etc.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and many, many people are on it, so I would think that the Conversion Pack has definately caught the mainstream's attention.

Also, I've seen a poll for the Squeddies Mappack, which had to do with what kind of matches should be held, like 3v3's in Italia, or maybe 4v4's in Tynna Valley, etc.
