LUA for non-campaign question (Optional Objective)

As you already know I am not into LUA scripting, so there is my question, is it possible to complement Conquest, Flag, Assault, etc. with optional objectives? the idea is to give players access to some bonus like if it were the Fake Console for example, that is, making a "rare drop" for units like say "Remote Bombs part A, B, C" then once they are all carried over to a certain place to activate Sabotage Bonus, and the like, for that matter being able to see those objectives in your map.

Anyone?

I think its maybe possible, you could have units set to drop a flag ( not sure though if thats possible) but if it is then you could set up a region and have it be the capture point, and set a variable that goes up by one and once its hits 3 have it activate the bonus. Im sure someone thats good at scripting could come up with a better way of doing it than me
