.wld file corrupted?

Post by computergeek »

I was going to release my map today, but I made some final changes before I did my final manual clean and I'm pretty sure I saved, but I'm not sure. I shut down my computer with ZE still up and my map still loaded. I tried to munge when I got back to the computer and it got stuck on ***.PTH so I hit stop (stupidy) I did a complete manual clean and then re munged. It got back to the ***.PTH, so I left it there for the rest of the day (12 hours now) and when I got home, it was still there. So I hit stop, then tried to open it in ZE, and now ZE just crashes when I load my .wld. My map remains unchanged in game, but I cannot edit it anymore through ZE. Any body know what I can do? I am going to release the version I have now, it isn't that bad, but I want to fix it.

Try copying the .PTH file over from another map, rename it to match your map's MODID and see if that helps (you'll have to redo planning though)
