New map new jedi

hi im making a map with three new jedi in. thre map is a snowy level. the back story is that a fleet of republic gunships were shot down trying to escape a huge space battle, along with 3 jedi Rik Jinn, Talim Sorel an dhis brother Auren Sorel. i have made the three jedi and localized them and their weapons.

got some new screens here:

i have a choice now. i was thinking i could add in a capital ship for rep and cis on each side of the map and have some dog fighting above the ground battle. who thinks this is a good idea and who thinks its a bad idea

I'd say keep the dogfighting out of this map, but i cant have a final view until i play it.

Even though dogfighting above a battlefield is a great concept, it doesnt seem right for a level where you are encouraged to play as Jedi.

- thats beacuse its a double bladed lightsaber. with only one blade if you get me. i wanted mauls animatiosn for him with asingle blade and because maul was made as one of the first heroes they made him so there was an attached bone point. if i use a normal saber it just crashes so i took away the lower blade.

also il leave the dog fighting out of it that is a good point the level is mainly for the jedi. if anyone has any suggestion of what makes a great ground battle id be more than happy to take them into account

no walkers for the republic, accept the destroyed ones already on. but the cis might i havnt decided on what vehicles the cis will have yet

Lets see... you have a core ship... that means you can have spider droids, hailfire droids, and snail tank droids...

I would like to see hailfire droids at the least

Spider Droids are overused -- and IMO overrated. Hook us up with more Hailfire/Snail Tanks in their place.

Overused? I only saw spider droids in two maps: Geonosis and Kasyyyk

i must admit im not too fond of the spider droids. i want to add in those hover things cant remember the name offhand from episode one, where qui gon meets jar jar, just for some good speed and power. and i can imagine some of them with droids on zooming out of the fed core ship
