everytime i play it, it loads, and then crashes to my desktop... how is this possible?

How many maps are in your addon folder?

Well it depends. If BF2 can't finish loading its because there are too many addon maps. If its just the Nelvaan map that crashes, try deleting it, redownloading it, and putting it into your addon again

And removing and mods or other maps that might conflict with it ((Such as the Conversion pack))

okay,:
- deleting and redownloading it and reputting the new version in the addonfolder: crashes
- i only have 28 other maps in my folder
- i don't have the conversion pack

i don't get it :S

That's really strange.

Has even one addon map worked for you?

If not then you need to get Version 1.1 of BF2 (but I'm sure you've already done that). Is it crashing when you are loading BF2 or the map???????? :yodaful:

remove the other maps untill it works, if that doesn't work then there isn't much else youc an do

all the other ones work fine.. and yes i have 1.1, and it only crashes when it is finished loading the map....

tried removing all the others too, no effect

Try setting your game's video settings lower.

Doh! WHY did I forget that one! thats most likely your reason! Some maps dont work with High Video settings becouse of your Graphics Card or becouse of some settings in the map.

yes! it works! you were right, it were the video settings! thank you SO much! (isn't it something? i buy one of the latest (and, according to my dad expensivest, althoug he's probably exaggerating) videocard, and it STILL gives conflicts... >.<) again, thank you SO SO much!
