Mmmm.... We'd better not. We don't want to get Guru in trouble. BF1 to BF2 and the opposite way around is one thing, since most everyone here owns both, it's safe to say we all own the assets. But RC stuff I doubt everyone has.

That's not the point. BF2 was developed by Pandemic, while RC by some other. So, I doubt they'd let their games... inter-twine.

Still, you could use those RC skins for reference. It would make it much easier.

Well, just saying, looks awesome. I use to have RC Music....but not anymore. :( I don't think using RC music would be bad or anything. Just skins a models, but...eh maybe the music has the same lisencing. I don't know, but well, it'd be nice. lol Well. I know this is the bad time to ask this, but it'd be great to have an RAS map. Big battle in the hangar. :P hehe

You can actually get the RC music off LA's website. I can tyr and find them agian if you want.

yeah, the music was on the official rc site, so there shouldn't be a problem with that.
as for the skins, well, thats why i asked before posting them. and since it seems that would be questionable, i wont.

I just voted to keep 3rd person, maybe it wouldn't be a problem if you make all the HUD stuff with the 1st person view, but in 3rd the unit will look like any other class (of course, qith the new skins you make)
I really don't know why you want to eliminate 3rd person, because (as we saw in a thread with a poll I can't remember now) it's what more people use..

if anyone wants, I can translate RC's songs for ya (could help in readme)

and (here's an idea) does teh 3rd-person apply when you have the lightsaber as an SECONDARY weapon? (aka offhand)

omg this is gonna be sweet is it gonna have delta 38 voice on the commnads lol would mint if you could but problem is he dont sya wot you need for bf2 i was think for when you commande a bot to move out you could get delta 38 to say "cancle manouver delta" and when he says elimante target you could use that to oppose enemy spotted nce work m8

Delta_57, I think (Im not sure) you can use 1st view with Lightsaber as secondary weapon, just look at the Tatooine Valley map, by Penguin, where the Magnaguards have those guns and electrostaff too, and I belive you could use both views (depending on the weapon)

Check the WWII map for a vibroblade type weapon (knife)

The Problem is:
The Helmet Interface will be somewhat used as a weapon, so if you change to exterior Camera, you'll still see those interfaces.
And adding a lightsaber-type close combat weapon will definatley screw up the controls.

Nope, There is Hi Res and normal weapon geometery :wink:
