I am thinking of possibly making a map with a hall of fame in it, and I need the permission of the following ppl to have them be in it:

Count the Mandalorian Wars in (even though we are still in the development stage). We always need a boost in confidence and interest to help continue with the project. And I'm sure qdin wouldn't mind, he loves the attention.

. To update everyone while i'm at it, we have started on a "teaser" map to show off our new models and ideas. It has nothing to do with the mod itself, but some of the fresh models will be used in it. Let's say very few models from the original game will be used.

what is the reason, that some of this people are in the list?

i see people, where i dont know that and i miss people in this list.
dont ask wich peolpe, you did the list and you know what all the people did for the modding scene or the community.

dont put people in this list, wich released a lot of maps or want to work on mods.
put people in this list who, play and mod battlefront from the beginning.
people who helped the community to make maps.
people who worked on new ideas for factions and released it.

i think, make a list where you post the name and what this people have done for SWBF. and let the community say wich one should be in the hall of fame.

you forgott:
nimlot, for the work on Bconstructor.
eddie, for some great maps from the beginning.
challanger for his great EP3 Trooper textures, wich one would be better in the next version of my and challangers kashyyyk map.

that is only my opinion.

lol, and Sdwhwk: you know me too well, haha

I'm SO excited for the honor, and I also think, that sdwhwk should be on the list, for organizing the Mandalorian Mod Crew - and imp_strikeforce is also one of the "elites of gametoast" - he's getting good at everything, so we shouldnt forget him, haha

and I just want people to know to get on the list:
be ORIGINAL and UNIQUE

and make something REALLY cool, or new, or just IMPRESSIVE

or do something that attracts peoples attention

lol, and have an avatar - haha

Thanks for pointing that out, Dragonum. Didn't notice that they were not on the list. Forgot another on my team, CGArtist. He released the first and second skypack that is being used in quite a few maps and is the co-leader of the Mandalorian Wars mod. I'm sure there are a lot of people and teams who deserve to be in it, but we should avoid having this as a popularity contest. We are a community and everyone pitches in. Some more than others, but all in the same spirit. I can see what is about to happen, so let's keep the heated discussions to a minimal.

ya, you're right shwhwk, but if anyone want to be in, or think they SHOULD be in it - I just think they should PM Chamboozer

and tell him/her (hey, we actually dont know - lol) why they should be on the list

thats all for now, and I agree with sdwhwk, we shouldnt take this as a popularity test, but for FUN

I just thought that if someone is gonna make some sort of "Hall of Fame," it should include deserving people in the sense that Dragonum described -- not casual posters, beginners, and people who don't even know why they themselves are on the list. That makes it look like Chamboozer's own popularity list, and people can't help but scratch their heads and go "huh?" I agree with letting the community decide who should go into it, so that it can have some actual meaning for those who are in it.

and I personally like: Rends - because of his great maps, Eddie because he was one of the "starter" mappers, who created new maps, Saturn for being a LEGEND in modelling, and keep creating new stuffs - this includes ALL Saturnlabs

, and to Psych0fred for being the BEST!!! (lol, I dunno what he ISNT good at) and of course to Guru for CREATING this wonderful site

theese are some of the persons, we SHOULD start honor

and then we can then go further

Hence why I said it shouldn't be a popularity contest. Too many people whould be confused and pissed.
