There are three acklays and six fighters at a time. And I've thoroughly checked, there is no way to get out of the pit.

No, you're trapped inside the pit. If you want out you can just switch teams.

Well, atleast they can't kill the customers.
Is there a safe place in the pit that has a soda (can't spell machine)(wait I think I just did)
So they can heal up, and reload?

Make it so you can run out of all of your ammo but after that you can use punch. :twisted:
Because it might be a little lame to have all of the gladiators hiding behind a soda machine receiving and unlimited ammo. And what happens if the acklays are all killed again?

The acklay are a local team. They keep spawning. There are always three acklay in the pit. There is not a soda/health machine or an ammo dispenser. There are plenty of health pickups in the pit from the dead AI though.

what if you made the acklays vehicles, so you can fight each other on beastback.

That would be very hard, as he would have to make a new odf, add new hardpoints, and make a riding animation for the guy riding the acklay.

You could just use the speeder one*. It might look a little weird, but at least it looks like you would be riding it.

yes, it sounds fun, but I don't think an Acklay would ever let anybody ride it.

I know it is late to say this but for the cantina you should have stairs going to a lower level of the Cantina to were like a wine cellar would be or something like that, except bigger and stairs heading up where you can overview the Battle Pit and other things. This is just an idea of mine.
