I am new to this modding stuff and I am having a real hard time figuring it out. Where can i get some step by step instructions for this. I cant even get textures in the map. I am not trying to do anything fancy, just a very simple map. Please, Please, help me. Thanks.

There is two places you can look. The Mod tools themselves have a tutorial of a sorts, but it can be harder to understand. Another source, one I would recommend, is at Saturn Labs. There is a link to their site under the link section on the left. Select tutorial from their site and they have a wonderful step-by-step for ya.
