ZE animation mode crashes

Post by Eggman »

Whenever I try to animate objects in ZE, the program crashes. The crash tends to happen within the first minute of working in the animation mode, making it very nearly impossible to do anything. Does anyone know possible causes/fixes, or is this just an instance of ZE being unstable? I don't have any other programs running in the background.

I had the exact same problem. I don't know what I did to fix it though. I just woke up one day and it worked.

check you computer and see if it installed a driver for something about the same time that happened.

I often have the same problem when working on particularly complex animations. I haven't found a foolproof workaround, so I just make sure to save often and deal with it. It's probably tied into the amount of memory needed to do that particular task and as a result I blame my computer, but I'd just make sure to save often.

That sounds like the most likely reason to me, since my computer is getting on in years and isn't exactly high-performance anymore.
