I bought Star Wars Battlefront 2 (PC) a couple of years ago and it's run fine on my 32 bit Win 7 with a lot of mod maps and some mods.
Then encountered some strange problems, maybe after installing the 1.1 patch. The game lags very much. The profile screen is sometimes normal but when I click on ok, the music lags and all of the game is bad from that time. I can't even launch any maps because the just don't load (the game freezes). I tried a lot of things to do rinstalled the game over 20 times, I tried to boost my pc, delete unnecessary programs etc. but nothing has changed. Sometimes, for one day in 2 months it's fine then the following day it lags again. I thinkI'll try to get a new CPU, becuse it isn't so fast, but the game ran well on this CPU for year. I'd be grateful if you guys could help me.
Thanks!
p.s. sorry for the long topic

Re: Battlefront 2 error
Thanks for the advice. I uninstalled it when I reinstalled the game (first).
I don't know what is the problem because the game worked fine whit this cpu, but now it doesn't. I'd consider buying a new cpu.

Re: Battlefront 2 error
Oh I remember having this problem a long time ago, when I first got Battlefront 2 for the PC. All I did was restart my computer and it fixed it. Did you try that?

Re: Battlefront 2 error
if you say you restart it may could be the directX because it's the only part of the BFII installation that needs a restart

Try to plug-in a microphone in your microphone port and start the game again.
