Where the place where the brige peices come together there is still a line, try to line them up better if you can.

That depends....did you scale the msh up? If so, there's no known way to fix the dissappearing bug other than scaling it up and saving it as a new object in XSI. If you didn't scale them up, then I have no idea xD. It's only happened to me when I scale things.

BTW, this is looking most excellent! Pretty soon, we actually WILL be able to live all the epic battles just like the devs promised. Can I get a cheer for folks making bigger/better maps than Pandemic/LucasArts?

*sigh* I'm really annoyed now cause i've tried to type this message 2 times already, and it goes right back to the log-in section after i press submit, I hope it works this time :roll:

Anyway, I have not scaled the msh and I've done all the methods you guys suggested.

I've made changes so that the UT-AT cannot pass through to get to the CIS base, because i barricaded the bridges. So the UT-AT is meant to provide supressing fire- not charge headlong into the enemy base. it makes for very exciting gameplay on foot though :) So dont try, making it over, you'll fall off lol.

My beta testers didn't like that change too much, but i think it was for the better.

I played the map online with my testers, and it was really fun- I can't imagine it with 32 players! :D

Edit: It worked! party!

And then, I've balanced the sides, so the map is pretty much done :)

In the movie, it was basicly bridges going over a pit and to a huge destroyed city, not bridges going every which-way :? . If I could make one suggestion (and being a minor modder, I know this takes about two seconds!) I would suggest adding some more buildings on the outskirts (unless it'll lag)

Epena, does this lag at all on your system? I have a lower end graphics card relative to what they have now (Radeon 9200). Would that make me unable to play this?

It doesn't lag to bad for me but thats jusr because of my awful internet. Elmo, now I know why I understand why you were laughing about the UT AT falling! It falls off the bridge and just sits there and flys around in the same place then at last blows up.

Oh, on my old computer it lagged terribly. I haven't got a chance yet to try out the latest version, but I' gonna see how it fares here, then report back.

hope it doesn't lag for you Epena, on the other comp. Anyways

@Kajong: There are buildings on the outskirts don't worry. And yes- special things will be added (the secret things)

@Trainmaster: I think CIS will have no vehicles, unless i can get something
else... 8)

@Thire: You're one of my beta testers..?

And, I need help deciding whether i should keep those barriers on the bridge, or get rid of them so we can have more of a vehicle war...

Edit: added poll- And i want to point out the pros and cons about each one...

If i leave the barriers/add more, It will be really fun on foot, but will hardly allow any movement for the vehicles, leaving them *almost* useless.

If i get rid of them- not so much fun on foot, but i can add more vehicles, and they will have a broader range of movement and it would make a better vehicle war.

:shock: I figured that- that thing comes with the sniper- and it's utter pwnage :shock:

I've also decided to put Fred's dwarfspider droid ingame- but as of now- I'm having problems with it not even showing up. Once it does show up, I'm going to have collision problems- which means more work. :(
