ok... i have a map... which after A LOT more work i would like to release...
now my issue is planning hubs and barriers...
my map has a tunnel going into a mountain and inside there is a large room... the AI spawn there and don't follow the corridors just run into a wall in the direction of the planning hubs... how do i place hubs under ground...?
i would attach a picture to clarify but does this error mean the picture of 146KB is too big???

Re: Pathing/Barrier Problem
There's no reason to place hubs underground, they're infinite in height and depth since AI only see the world in 2D, what you see in ZE is just for visual purposes.

Re: Pathing/Barrier Problem
I always keep the ground to 0 and place hubs and barriers and raise it after that up.
But next time make barriers and hubs before raise the ground.
OR
you try to place hubs and barriers without set the ground on 0.
very difficult but also works.

Re: Pathing/Barrier Problem
If you're having trouble placing planning and barriers correctly on the mountains, try this:
1. Use the height tool to lower terrain to the level of your tunnel.
2. Place all of your planning and barriers.
3. Click undo, and it will only undo the change you made to the height, leaving planning and barriers as you placed them.
Placing them directly on top of the mountain may make it difficult to align.

It's been said before, but if you make the .ter file read only before you start your planning, you can edit the terrain to your heart's content and it won't change once you save.Xavious wrote:3.
