I'll get straight to the point: Are we going to do one this year?

who ran it last year and made it all war and fuzzy , ill play! same categories etc? sounds fun. we just need a rule maker and organizer. Ill post on the main page and give ranks and images to winners.

Maveritchell hosted and was the judge last year.

I hope we have one! Hmmmmm. If nobody and I mean NOBODY wants to host I will.

I'm in, but how do we start? I wasn't around for the other Christmas Avatar contests...

Usually we set rules, categories, and a deadline to submit entries. Then there's a voting period. When that's over, we tally the votes in each category and announce winners.

I'm pretty sure CarbineImpulse did a lot of it last year, didn't he? Him and Mav, if I can remember correctly.

I kinda think it's too late for this unless we get going right now and if we've got someone willing to do it.
I'd like to see it happen though.

i dont think its too late. i mean to make a really good one (workin on it like an hour a day) it should only take about a week. (including planning)

My idea is;

Christmas Time Games theme. (Giving any Video Game a Christmas theme, for example, Nomad from Crysis with a santa hat, Clones and such from star wars battlefront with Christmas colored legion markings in snow, etc)

How about a tougher theme, although Penguins is good: like, how characters in certain games are celebrating!

In every Christmas avatar contest I've been in on here, we just made christmas-y Star Wars themed avatars, I'd like that this year too, so we can just have some freestyle.

I like the theme idea, and Star wars characters could be included in the video game character theme.
