You are correct.YT-1300 wrote:he doesnt have the DSII in the map. i think is just gonna be part of the background. that is the reactor core for the cap ships. that probably will take for ever to get to, cause i think it said something about 400 or so in-game meters to get to it. lol.

Changing vehicle speed is really easy. It's all in the ODFs. Just change a few values here and there, and bam. There you go. Though, I think the ships go at a fairly good speed as it is. I mean, sure, they're slower than they were in the movies, but we don't really have the manueverability they had in the movies either. Just my opinion though.

Neon,
And are you going to add a deathstar we need to fly into?

there is, in my opinion no doubt this will be a huge sucsess, keep it up! i have longed a long time for the walk aboard the stardestroyer, and now it seems to me that you are fullfilling my and probably many others dreams, keep it up, i wanna blow the ISD's up!
but please take your time, make it as good as possible, a good map is worth waiting for.

suggestion...you are probably already working on it heres a few things imo ( i know its not done but...) it it possible to make the Nebulon B frigate whiter like in the movies. and i think IMO that the cap ships should be more mixed up in location. such as instead of having all the rebel caps coming from the east and all the imperial caps coming from the west, make it so some the rebel caps are on the west behind or above the imperial caps and some of the caps to the east and down. something like that. like so instead of one front (the middle of the map, you have multiple fronts for more action. i hope you get wat im trying to say.
i dont know if you are already doing this or have done this,, cause its a little hard to tell from the pics. but either way this is gonna be a super awesome map!!

Right, a few things, one- good idea, and looks like you are making good progress.
but also, make the engine room etc, command posts, yes it will mean lots of cps, but it would mean, much bigger and longer battles, but one thing i think, is you need about 1 or 2 rebel cap ships, as in the film it was mainly frigates, so, i think one or 2 rebel cap ships is ab out right

I agree but i think that all the Rebel ships should be facing the same way, with the Imp ships on different levels. Also in the 1st and 2nd screens instead of having that one destroyer at a right angle to the other you should have it pointing down or up and facing down or something.YT-1300 wrote:i think IMO that the cap ships should be more mixed up in location. such as instead of having all the rebel caps coming from the east and all the imperial caps coming from the west, make it so some the rebel caps are on the west behind or above the imperial caps and some of the caps to the east and down. something like that.

Can't do the bolded stuff because gravity exists in the game. There is a definite downwards direction in the game.[Matt_Man] wrote:I agree but i think that all the Rebel ships should be facing the same way, with the Imp ships on different levels. 56 cps. I'm dead serious. It took 7 cps for me to make 1 capitol ship like I wanted it. But I think that sticking too close to the movie design won't promote an intense yet balanced battle.Yoga_Yoda1 wrote:Right, a few things, one- good idea, and looks like you are making good progress.
