KOTOR's most embarrassing moment
This video shows what happens if Deadeye Duncan actually beats you in the duel ring. Gave me a bit of a chuckle.

Haha, you have to be really bad to lose to Deadeye Duncan, he practically beats himself.Ping wrote:KOTOR's most embarrassing moment

I remember reading that in the cut content from KoTOR, Duncan would have survived the destruction of Taris and could be found in Manaan, I wish they kept that in, it would have added a nice irony to this little story.

Re: "The Video Archive"
This video probably has the longest joke set-up ever. And it has some very nice music as well. (just watch the whole thing; you've got to believe me on this)

(there is only a little bit of strong language and one violent (not shown) moment. Just so you can be prepared)

Spoiler
Great episode, I really liked how they did the "force throw" battle.
That white guy did a great acting here.
BTW, has anyone else already watched "Chad breaks the internet"?

Yes, the Chad Vader series is hilarious! However, I like Season 1 and the Training Vids more than Season 2, which seems a bit off the mark with the whole "Baby Cookie" thing.mswf wrote:BTW, has anyone else already watched "Chad breaks the internet"?
Ok, I found this to be intriguing: Magic or Math? He obviously has some sort of method, but it's still fun to play this two or three times to see the prediction come true every single time in this illusion:

"Manipulation" would be the proper term.Devastator77 wrote:Ok, I found this to be intriguing: Magic or Math? He obviously has some sort of method, but it's still fun to play this two or three times to see the prediction come true every single time in this illusion:

I see what he did there...

Re: "The Video Archive"
I think that if you just look mathematically at it, you'll notice that there are no other options then end on that square. (he uses even/uneven numbers, whilst there is an even/uneven number of squares) It's simply impossible to end up on the house, the V etc.
Longified:
If there are only four squares left:
12
43
You start on 1 and you can only move an even number of steps. (it doesn't matter how big the number is)
It's now simply impossible to end on either 2 or 4. In this case, the maker of this video removes 2
1
43
Because of the earlier limitation, you have to stand on either 1 or 3
Now, when you are now told to move an uneven number of steps, you just have to end on 4.
Meaning, it's impossible for 1 or 3 to be occupied.
He removes 1
43
Since you were forced to be on 4, your only choice left when limited to one last step, is #3
The same principle applies to the larger field as well (even and uneven), but I think everyone gets the trick now.
Manipulating the audiences attention is for magic acts (though I'm not saying that's easy, it is a lot harder than this trick), this is just chromified fifth grade math

Re: "The Video Archive"
Well, to be honest, me too, but I somehow can see through simple abstract number ridles like these fairly easy. Making this is a different case however.

Great list of Robot Chicken star wars clips
There's the regular swearword, but it's sure is fun to watch. (<- warning)
Yo mama fight between Sidious and luke
Orientation day on the deathstar:
IT's A TRAP!!1!
"The morning after" moments
An explanation to a classic moment
It goes on and on. I'm not sure it works internationally, I can't test it out. (it surely should work in the UK in the EU)

Re: "The Video Archive"
Have you guys seen this? It's a fan-made short film about the events of Half-life 2: Episode 1, produced by a small team who apparently makes commercials.
I thought it was well done, they managed to capture the overall atmosphere of the game, the CGI looks alright (it came straight from the game afterall) and the costumes are actually pretty accurate and non-cheesy. I guess there will be more films in the future, there is a teaser for this series: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKffQO2UZBE.
Oh, yeah, before I forget:
