I'm waiting for a super-epic last stand episode. If a video game like Halo: Reach can showcase an epic last stand, or Star Wars Episode V with the Battle of Hoth, why can't a CGI series make a good super-epic battle until the bitter end? Well, that Ryloth episode was good, but I didn't see all of it. I just saw Keeli and the... Nikto Jedi get killed.

Despite my reservations about Savage Opress and general "meh" attitude towards all the politics this season, I think I'm going to be paying a lot of attention pretty soon. The bald dude with red tattoos who shows up at :30 looks especially awesome, because he looks like a villain who shows up to get things done. The more fantasy feel is also a plus.

Though I am wondering how they're going to pull off darkside!Ahsoka. Has she really had any sort of trying moments so far? There were a few glimpses of something that could be some sort of sith artifact, but hey, I'm open to anything that gets some action going.

But it's looking good. Very good.

I don't think Ahsoka actually turns to the Dark Side, I bet she's just under the influence of something or someone.

I love the darkness permeating the series at this point. Not only does it reflect in the cinematography (like the scene in the trailer with the characters jumping around on the large curled vine) but it appears to be reaching the characters (Ahsoka). However, my guess is that she's under the influence of something, not darkside, due to a lack of development to lead to a darkside transformation, and the fact that she is captured and in restraints in :26.

Also, anyone notice injured Obi at :23?

The way Ashoka looks all veiny or sick in the trailer makes me think she probably got infected with something. It wouldn't be the first episode where something takes control of some good guys to attack the other good guys.

I still don't like how they changed the appearance of the characters.

I'm enthuisastic. I don't mind the aesthetic changes on the characters, as long as the characters still do what they're supposed to do: Blow stuff up. That's all I want to see for the second half of season three. "Bip. Bap. BAM!" Action sequences and dead Hutts. That's what I expect.
