It's pretty obvious he was hacking, but how? BF2 itself is hard to hack, and Renegade Squadron must be even harder. How do you suppose he went about doing this?

Hacking on Renegade Squadron -- !?!?
Alright, so yesterday, I was playing Renegade Squadron online, and here comes this clone, right? So I fire my chaingun at him, and it took almost the exact amount of time it took to kill a normal person twice. Then he looks at me, and with one shot, he kills me. He did it about 3 or 4 times. I can kill everyone else, but NOT him.
It's pretty obvious he was hacking, but how? BF2 itself is hard to hack, and Renegade Squadron must be even harder. How do you suppose he went about doing this?

I don't think it's a good idea to discuss hacking here, though a better question to ask is: "How can I avoid this childish behaviour?"
I personally think it's a very egoistic act to have fun out of hacking in an online game.

MWHUHAHAHAHA, exept for when it is I who ruin a good game :maulsaber:

And you can't even boot them. >:(
IDK, Renegade Squadron must have some different programming than BF2, making it easier to hack...man, Rebellion has more flaws than Pandemic did O.o

Don't switch to Elite Squadron if you're looking for reprieve from the hackers. I've noticed a few in the small amount on online matches I've played...

Was that a bump?
Hm. Well, does Elite Squadron have any kind of kicking system? That would benefit the game a whole lot...

Technically, it wasn't a pointless bump. xII DM IIxx added some usefull information to the topic at hand by saying that the other game has the same problems.

Re: Hacking on Renegade Squadron -- !?!?
Elite Squadron has some anti-cheat measures in place, meaning it'll kick people it suspects of cheating/hacking, however I've heard that legitimately good players have been accused of cheating/hacking (I think they were kicked from the game, but really I can't remember...) and their ranks were lowered. B-ut, there's no way of knowing if these guys were ACTUALLY legitimate players and not just cheaters or hackers whining.
Anyway, in spite of the anti-cheating methods being used, the hackers are still getting through.
A vote-to-kick option would've worked, I think.
