They finally learned how to make blaster bolts other than blue and red!!! <--- This was literally my favorite part of the episode.
New helmets for the AT-RT and Gunship Pilots.
Never got a good look at the starfighters they used besides the Y-Wing and Gunships, assuming Z-95 or ARC-170 with wings folded.
Krell is no longer awesome from the previews and something I want to see destroy droids. He's a jerk who I want to see major fail.
One of the things he said made absolutely no sense. "Anyone else want to stop and play with the animals?" ... WHAT?? The animals attacked the clones, they didn't have a choice but to "stop to play". Also, that kind of taunt is used when a villain has just killed a disobedient subordinate or prisoner, not after a hero saves someone from a monster...
I think this is why no one noticed Anakin's slide to the Dark Side, they were too busy watching this guy...
And, he called Rex by his CC-#### that I cannot remember, even though he used it like 3 times in a row. Slowed his sentences waaaay down. There's no good reason I can think of to do this...
Hidden/Spoiler:
1: ARF helmet looked the same to me, please correct me if I'm wrong.
2: Z-95, even though it's listed on wookiepedia as Z-85, it's wrong. It was already canon for Z-95s to be used in the clone wars. Here's a pic. Link.
3: I wish Krell to cease his life functions immediately.
4: Actually stuff like that has been done many times, this is to show Krell is unreasonable, and only cares about getting to point B as fast as possible. Additionally the clones weren't killing them, they were missing all of their shots. If they shot them down fast Krell wouldn't have cared.
5: He called rex CT-7567, yes CT and not CC. This is done for one reason, it's protocol. It's a sign of disrespect to the clones, he doesn't view them as human beings. Also, they are listing him calling him CT instead of CC a goof, I don't. To me he's saying, I don't respect you enough as an officer to accknowledge your rank.
The mouth part looked different to me. possibly more like the phase 2 AT-RT drivers in RotS
And about CT/CC 7567 or whatever, I was thinking some of that, but couldn't come up with the words. Didn't notice if it was CT instead of CC
Besides that jerk commander, did anyone notice how awesome that clone with the chaingun was? I don't he died, which is pretty awesome. But seriously though, he was pretty cool for an unnamed clone.
I liked the second episode on Umbara better than the first.
Hidden/Spoiler:
Sergeant Appo? I suppose this story arc might have something to do with Appo replacing Rex? I kind of hope it doesn't happen quite so soon into the season though.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting Rex to make it through this episode. The writers did a great job building up suspense, and once Appo's name got dropped, I thought for sure that Rex was done for.
The show's developers are really showing off the best of their abilities in every capacity with the Umbara episodes. Great writing, great visuals, and great action.
Yeah, this mini series is my favorite out of the whole season so far... and I'm excited to see that they finally brought in Appo! I feel like such a nerd for knowing who he is.
Finally got to sit down with my dad and watch the episode. I liked it. I hate Krell. Caterpillars kick Diet Dr. Pepper. Appo. Hardcase and Fives got to enjoy themselves a bit. Krell's a penguin.
Did you guys notice how brutal the show got? I mean at the beginning I thought it's going to be one of those shows for 10 year olds because of those really dumb comments of the B1 droids but now clones are pulling their brothers who lost their lower body out of the battlefield and bodys are flying all over the place.

I actually like it this way!
My dad and I miss the battle droid humor actually. We want both brutal and funny.

Seconded. Dumb droids are a part of the Star Wars fun.
