Looks great Elmo. As for your pilot problem....

It doesn't have a REQ file and it isn't entered into the gar REQ file so it won't work. You'll need to add it to make your own custom gar side if you want it to work. Sorry.

Looks rather nice that far. How did you get the water to look like this ? Nice piece of work. I'm just wondering how the naboo should get rid of the TF vehicles without rocket soldier or vehicles of their own.

Wow. Simply looks amazing (even for a first map Lol). I can't wait to play it :D If you would need any beta-testers, I would be willing to test for ya ^^

Heh, if FX are all that's missing that's a really easy fix. Here are the fx for nab1_prop_waterfall.

Lol.. I also found a fix for it, I just used the fx used for the nab2 fountain prop :P

thx everyone.... @pvt parts- that's when the Naboo starfighter will come in handy!

hmm.. im having issues with the AI. They just run into the water and die after awhile even though i placed barriers around the water's edge.... i don't know how to fix this..

Place hubs and connections on the map, so the AI won't try to run into the water.

and parts... i think i used the Kas2 water TGA texture file for my water....


and water will show best on water quality high... :P

Lol.. Yea, the standard Naboo water texture doesn't really look right compared too the movies.

Hey Elmo, for a variety in terrain, I'd suggest making a waterfall and a lower area.

What's your issues with the fighter?

I can't get it in the map.. i think i did everything right...

But about the waterfall... that'd be awesome.. and i'd gladly do that... but what waterfall prop would i use? i tried the Yavin 4 one and in game it looked horrible . for some reason.. there was a black mirage surrounding the whole waterfall... if you can find me a good prop.. i'd be more than happy to put it in :P

ok.. those are all the latest pics...

Updates: I (obviously :roll: ) added the Naboo N1 into my map, which runs very smoothly...

I added hills on the maps edges

And i added fences and gates.. near the "embassy" :P

Then there are bugs im struggling with...:

I can't get the floating gun to disappear.. so that's gonna stay... :(

I can't get the gian speeder in my map... i will though!

A little issue when flying... when you fly pretty low over the Naboo buildings, with the droidfighter, you will explode... i don't know why.. so just fly high when flying over the buildings... (with the Naboo Starfighter, you just get a "bump"


and then there are the problems where the AI won't co operate and stay on Land... they walk into the deep water... and then die..

Oh yeah... the STAP's speed is incredible... if you hold down the forward button, you will go really fast in a matter of seconds... so it's best to use it to skim across the water 8) Or to perform stunts :P (THat is SO fun!)

And that's it for now... should i make it so you can fly through the water?!

I can't get the gian speeder in my map... i will though!
A shortcut around vehicle spawns with the gian speeder is to place it in ZE. It works. :)

I say keep the STAP above the water.

It really looks good Elmo, I'm looking forward to the release. Take your time, though!

The prob with the buildings is that they weren't meant to be used on top, so the collision up there is messed up. nothing you can do about that.

About the water, are you sure that there aren't any holes in your barriers?
