Why do I get the feeling either you or Fusion are gonna use that line on Xbox Live?

I heard that it was full of sexism, racial stereotyping and American military hardware (and a stupefyingly large number of explosions)... :/

I expect he read the msn review, because that's basically a copy/paste of what was written there.Fluffy_the_ic wrote:1: Maybe a little bit, don't remember any.Pelt wrote:1:I heard that it was full of sexism, 2:racial stereotyping and 3:American military hardware (and a 4:stupefyingly large number of explosions)... :/

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
I've never been a big Transformers fan, but the first one was done well. The sequel...ouch.
Sure, there were plenty of explosions, plenty of plot-lacking battles, plenty of metal smashing metal (especially the end fight sequence). But the mindless battles weren't what ruined this film, it was the drug use, stereotypes, and crude sexual innuendo (as mentioned above). Now, this is extremely disturbing when you consider that the movie is marketed for a younger audience. I might not know much about Transformers, but I do know that it was originally a cartoon and it sells tons of toys. Tons. And who buys these toys? Who grew up watching the cartoons? I've heard that this dissapointed Transformers fans and parents alike by not staying true to the feel of Transformers. When I saw it in theaters, most of the audience was families who brought their young 6-10 year old children. This is not only a horrible kids movie, but it also lacked in plot and depth.

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
From what I have heard, and read about the movie (and from watching clips), the script was extremely silly and poorly written, but the CGI was amazingly detailed.
I don't really plan on seeing this, since I never really got around to seeing the first one.

Re: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
I'm not really going to recommend this one, but you should definitely see the first movie. In between the time I saw Transformers and TDK, I saw probably about 12 amazing movies, and up until I saw TDK, the first Transformers movie was my #1.SBF_Dann_Boeing wrote:From what I have heard, and read about the movie (and from watching clips), the script was extremely silly and poorly written, but the CGI was amazingly detailed.
