Renegade/Elite Squadron Map Ports
I have both games and PPSSPP, does anyone know what the process would be like to take the maps from these games and convert them to Star Wars Battlefront II, is that even possible??

You could use a program like Ninja Ripper to rip the objects as OBJ or you could use JPCSP's "Export to OBJ" feature.

Re: Renegade/Elite Squadron Map Ports
You would need Ninja Ripper... but Ninja Ripper has the quirk of ripping the environment into pieces and only what is visible at the time. You'd then need a plugin that can open those pieces: there's a 3DS Max plugin but as I don't have 3DS Max, I have no idea how it works. Noesis also has a plugin but the output always seems to mess up the UVs.
JPCSP rips whatever is on the screen as a single mesh, but it rips it as it is displayed, so it might rip the rotation wrong.
One could try and decompile the level files and rip the meshes from that but as I was told this would not be easy for somebody unfamiliar with ripping tools like hex2obj.

A suggestion:
Run through the maps on PPSSPP, make a rough sketch of the map on paper, and ask really nicely for a good modeler to make any required models.
Again, just a suggestion.

I was doing a elite squadron and renegade squadron map pack that weren't a direct conversion, however it is still alive and there might be an update soon.

You could rip the models. However some of the maps in Elite Squadron are 'lite' versions of SWBFIII maps. And those models are out there already. All they need is texturing.Samee3 wrote:A suggestion:
