Add kama when in disguise?

Add kama when in disguise?
Is there a way to add kama to a troop when its only in disguise. When the troop dosent have kama in the first place?

What do you mean by disguise? If you are talking about the stock BF1 disguise kit (which works for BF2), then with that all that happens is that the unit assumes the mesh of the first unit class on the opposing team. If that first unit class has a kama, so will the disguised one.

No, that's not true. The unit using the disguise kit only takes on the model of the first unit of the opposing team, and adding cloth requires an odf property in order for the cloth to show up on the unit. The disguising unit does not have its cloth odf defined, therefore the kama won't function.Fiodis wrote:What do you mean by disguise? You could try adding that line (ClothODF = "whatever") to your disguising unit, but I'm not sure if it'd work.

Ah, right Xavious; I had forgotten. Adding the line as well as putting the odf in the side's odf folder could work.

The other option is to have someone rig the cloth to the bones like the SWBF1 ARC troopers, but then you don't get the cool clothy-ness.

Would it be possible to shuffle the unit structuring to put one of the non-kama'ed clones up front?
