Objects misplaced ingame [Solved]
As you can see by the title, when I get ingame some of my objects are misplaced. It seems it only happens in a certain area. Anyone know what the cause/fix is for this?

These are stock. I did not change the size of the map.DarthD.U.C.K. wrote:are these objects custom or stock? did you change the maps size?

EDIT: Ok, some of them really look like they're floating in ZE. THEY'RE NOT. I checked ingame and close-up ZE.

Re: Objects misplaced ingame
It looks like it might be a terrain issue. The terrain that is rendered in-game doesn't always perfectly match the terrain in ZE. Try raising the terrain just a little bit in ZE to compensate (or lower the objects - whichever you prefer).

One question OP, did you always mark the "Build Accurate Collision" box before opening and editting your map? if not, there is the problem.

I did try this but somehow it didn't work. I'm going to scrap that area and those objects and build a new one there and another one somewhere else, and hopefully they won't have problems.Eggman wrote:It looks like it might be a terrain issue. Never did. So I checked it while going in, saved, and then munged and nothing new happened.DarthFannel wrote:One question OP, did you always mark the "Build Accurate Collision" box before opening and editting your map? if not, there is the problem.

Re: Objects misplaced ingame
As a side note, this is really only ever needed if you are going to burn the object shadows into the terrain. Otherwise leaving it unchecked won't cause issues and saves time.DarthFannel wrote:One question OP, did you always mark the "Build Accurate Collision" box before opening and editting your map? if not, there is the problem.

REALLY? That's amazing! I've always checked that box when loading in maps. You learn something new every day...THEWULFMAN wrote:As a side note, this is really only ever needed if you are going to burn the object shadows into the terrain.
