Re: Model showcase thread Part II
Alright, a few points to make,
1. The skin doesn't show up when you import it in Textured Decal View even with the skin in the same folder as the scene, it says something like An Error occured when oppening lamba.tga or something like that at the bottom of the XSI window.
2. Merge the Objects!! I did that to your model and the size dropped like 650kb!
3. I might have just missed them, but from what I saw you are missing an hp_pilot and hp_fire on the model, you got to have those.
Other wise the model itself looks great! I tried applying a new UV texture projection to it, but the texture was off compared to the picture, whenever i used any of the default sub projections.

Among things to do with 3dsMax when you're bored:

Hmm thinking of making it an avatar.

Re: Model showcase thread Part II
I never really liked the way my Carth Onasi skin fit on the Han Solo model, the head seeming to fat for instance. so on a bit of a obsessive compulsive whim, I made a few alterations.
Added his charismatic hair bangs, shoulder pads, the pad/plate thing at the top of his boots, tweaked his head hair and nose, and altered the UV's.

Along with a re-haul of the texture.

KotOR1 Canderous Ordo anyone?

Mostly a new skin, but I made his upper arms bigger, and tweaked the hair shape again.

i love this skin, however you should make the hair and the face more gray
(btw, has anyone noticed he looks like Oliver Kahn, but with black hair

Re: Model showcase thread Part II
Thanks.
I'm not entirely happy with the hair yet either, its nice and gray in the back, but its too dark in the front.
Anyway, here is the Mandalorian model.
Gogie said he would make one, but alas, he is gone again.

I used the Mando skin I had for the Storm Trooper Han Solo model, removed the head from the model and skin, and replaced it with the Galactic Marine head, and the bits from Gogie's Galactic Marine Mandalorian texture.
So it has the armor, and detail from the Stormtrooper body, and the realistic head from the galactic marine.

Re: Model showcase thread Part II
Looks great, Caleb! Any or all of those that you want to send me, I'd love them. I know that it'd definitely be helpful to have the Carth and Mandalorian to replace the retextures that are there now, and Canderous would be great to use (I may just replace the Mandalore hero entirely with Canderous).
