No.
Well, it is his map - he could decide to have heroes if he wanted to. I assume he already mentioned to you that he didn't plan to have any, which is why you speak (post?) so firmly, but he'd really be the best person to answer that question. :)

Though I'd agree with that sentiment; this doesn't seem the type of map for heroes.

Considering he is on my team and I help out with the map time-to-time, I think I am qualified to answer.

Ohhh, It's good to be back *Cue "Shoot to Thrill - AC/DC" * :)

I've returned from my unannounced modding break, I've been working on TFP for the past two weeks or so, and I managed to fix a few annoying bugs.

The Flamethrower has been fixed and I've given it a more realistic effect.

Changed the icons for the era and mode. Changed their names as well.

Changed the landscape a bit.

And, the best one of all, new player animation! That's right, I've finally figured out how to work with player animation. Turns out I was exporting wrongly -.- Well, I can regard the animation for the Sten MK. II pretty much done.

More animations are to come. Bolt-action reload, new death anims (maybe) ect..

Epic! Btw it would be cool if there was a chaingun class...maybe for the germans...:O. Anyhow, nice update on the flamethrower effect, and cool icons. I don't think there would be a trooper in ww2 with a chaingun, but I guess if you can. :D.

The Germans never had a chaingun type weapon, so it would be highly inaccurate to add one.

Maybe, probably to the british, or maybe add crazy or physco locals with it. "SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND" *PEW PEW PEW* something like that I don't know...maybe british but germans I probably was incorrect with the german part, but germans have invented lasers so far...I belive... (Off Topic: I belive there was laser guns in Captain America but it was during ww2 so I suppose you could add some laser stuff). Germans probably did invent something like that, but I think Britian could invent a chaingun, since they invented the *cough* flamethrower *cough.

Lasers were not invented by WW2 and certainly wern't used as weapons. They were in Captain America because the writers wanted to make Hydra seem more threatening. Don't believe everything you see on tv. The flame thrower would have be relatively easy to make, because it works by releasing a pressurized flameable gas and igniting it.

Alright then, I suppose there should just be a regular chaingun, no l@z0rs. Yeah, I know but it is possible to invent lasers. It's not easy, its mostly like the lightsaber...except, used for weapons.
Probably the chaingun could be golden as an award. :P.

Actually lasers have been around for decades now. Blasters, as we think of them in SW terms, are another thing altogether. And so are lightsabers, ftr.

That said, a chaingun might be cool as a historically inaccurate easter egg weapon - you could make it an award weapon with a very high score to unlock.

Maybe, but 38 would have to make it do like 5-9 damage per shot, or else it could get overpowered. It would be cool if it was more damage on the vehicles than troops, since the troops wear armor of course, and the vehicles aren't protected.

What? Tanks have armor. Lots of it. Why should a gun hurt a tank more than a trooper?

No, not tanks, jeeps I ment as I said to unlucky on Xfire. There is a open spot in the tank though, a small window. Jeeps are open and easily sniped.

Just an idea but you could make an SS Officer in a trench coat carrying a waist held MG42 that would look cool but its just an idea. :)

Hello people,

New update on Animations. New death anim for the British Lieutenant.

http://www.xfire.com/video/4dacc8/

As for the underhand chaingun thing, I'll have to decline it. Mod size is getting slightly big, the classes seem fine as it is too.
