Hey guys. I recently tried taking a stab at modding again, to find out windows 7 and ZE don't mix.
Tried installing The Windows XP compatible mode and it gets a runtime error when loading ZE. Tried some of the fixes in
the faq topic with no results. But I thought I'd get this seperate conversation going to see if anyone had success stories with it.

Re: Xp Compatible mode for windows 7, with ZE?
I had that error too. The following to steps solved it on my pc:
Install all c++ runtimes.
Run ZE as admin.
I know there are guys with that error, and many dont get this solved , but in my case this did the job

I used 3DAnalyze and checked Emulate HW TnL Caps.

If it works, save it as a batch so you can just open the batch when you need ZE.
