I don't think the exhaust is to big, it looks good. Yes, the A-Wing has secondary weapons, missiles. The landing gear doesn't matter, i mean the original modles dosn't have them. Did you make the Millenium Falcon model that was in the Kamino:Jedi Invasion map?TO DO
-Collision --- my collision mesh is not recognized. I guess it doesn't like milkshape's (may need a XSI guy for it)
-Finalize the mesh --- there's a few things I need to fix
-Exhaust --- as you can see, it's a bit big
-Fine tune main lasers
-Secondary weapons --- I think it has them...
-The other colors --- yeah the model has yellow, green and blue (will be separate MSHs and ODFs)
What won't be done
-Landing gear & the animation with it --- sorry, I really have no idea how

The A-Wing is taking awhile. I'm trying to figure out all the secrets of the collision mesh (now I know it must be under a certain poly count, and that you can have more than one -- I think up to 5 -- meshes specified in the odf). Once that's done, I just need to export the cokpit. After that I'll release a beta to get feedback and report bugs.
With my second ship I'll do a -- X-Wing Alliance -> OPT23DS ->Milkshape -> Notepad -> BConstructor -> ODF Creation ->Battlefront ---- tutorial.

I give you the Moldy Crow
-Turret will not end up working. I needed the extra internal mesh space for other hardpoints
-Neither will the engine glow
-If it looks big, that's because it's a freighter - Even still, it's probably to small (but I'm not changing it)
This looks like it'll beat the A-Wing to a release, as the A-Wing is giving me trouble.

Because the A-Wing is done, except for some serious collision issues. It, of all the models, doesn't want to collide properly. I may just have to use a very low-poly model from somewhere off the net and add it.Blackcurrent wrote:Ok, and why is that?
By way of an update, the Crow is flying, and has proper collision. I just need to tune the hardpoints to the correct locations, then it's off to finish tweaking the odf.
I've been thinking of releasing another tech map so you guys can see these two in action. They'd both be VERY beta, but at least you could see for yourself.
