SWBF1/XSI Question

How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.

SWBF1/XSI Question

I was wondering if it is possible to make things like, say, elevators and region-activated doors and stuff. This will probably be have to done in XSI right, as BF1 has no animation feature in zeroe editor... riiiight? So yah, I wanted to make a fort/war like map, so I wanted opening and closing doors, as well as elevators. Also, since I have to make the doors and elevators myself... I was wondering if there was a XSI ModTool 6.0 skinning/texturing/whatever you call it tutorial somewhere that i could get. Thanks!

Doors and things are possible, elevators aren't really. You can get them to work, but it's not feasible because the AI have no clue how to use them (they don't understand three dimensions)

Elevators would work if you lay them along the planning graph, but the ai would continually run against the side wall.
