Transparency to Boba's Jet Pack [Solved]
I'm trying to give transparency to Bobas jet pack. I followed this tutorial as well as I could, and I always get this:
Is it a problem with my skin? Or did I miss something on the model?

Re: Transparency To Bobas Jet Pack
Does your skin have a completely black alpha layer? There's nothing else to do to the model besides enabling the transparency value, unless you enabled it on the wrong MATD or left specular on.

Re: Transparency To Bobas Jet Pack
no, that works only for cloth
anyway, you have to do it that way:
open the file in the hexeditor and search for "ATRB", do that until you find the "ATRB" with the name of the txture you wanna give transparency under it. i used the attetexture as example.

now start to cound the hexvalues (one value is a pair of numbers/symbols) and put your curser in fron of the third one, then write "14" (the 1 in front of the 4 will make the transparency hardedged, thus getting rid of the weird overlayeffect if you se traransparent object behind another)

the red numbers are the inserted value. now save and you are done, but dont forget to make the jetpacktexture completely transparent, as AQT said.

Thanks guys. It was a problem with the texture. I didn't add the alpha channel correctly. I now have a Boba with no jet pack.

I suggest you use AceMastermind's reversed lightasber, rather than just reversiing the blade values.

No that won't work at all because it is not a valid ODF property, I think you mean:DarthD.U.C.K. wrote:no, that works only for cloth
Transparent = 1
...but it won't work for this anyway because it is only a cloth ODF property.
I didn't make it I just reversed it in XSI, just credit Pandemic if you use it.THEWULFMAN wrote:I suggest you use AceMastermind's reversed lightasber...
