hello, i am working with the REP army so my ask is: is possible add custom weapons sounds only modifing the rep.lvl with mod tools??

I'm not the most experienced with this, but from what tinkering I have done I can tell you the sounds aren't handled that way. If you want new sound files in, you'll have to refer to the tutorials. That's the easiest method, if not the only one.

i found a tutorial but this don't work and aslo i have to add the soud folder on my addon map and i only want add others sound modifing the rep.lvl

Go over the tuts again, and make sure you didn't miss anything. They give you what you need to know, and there's more info at psych0fred's site. Just because it doesn't work the first time doesn't necessarily mean there's something wrong with the tutorial.

Adding sounds directly to a side lvl file is really unorthodox, and likely won't work. (Sounds and their related files are all packed into separate lvl files.) If you don't know exactly what you're doing, it's best that you not try. The normal setup in the tutorials is the easiest way.
