Any way of lowering the total terrain w/o painting over it?
Heh, lots of questions from me today. Anyway, I was just wondering (and hoping) that there was a way to lower the total height of the terrain in ZE without loosing all of your hard work (aka painting it to the new height). You see, I started a map a while ago, and failed to realize that there was a height maximum for the terrain, and now it's not enough. I know this is a long shot, but if anyone has some crazy trick that I could use, that would really help me out a lot and save me hours of work. Thanks.

You can change the maximum terain height in your .lua file so you dont have to lower the total height.
Just make the numbers in these lines higher and you can make your terain higher. I think it can be as high as you want.
SetMaxFlyHeight(400) <------look for these and make #'s higher than what they are.
SetMaxPlayerFlyHeight (400) <-----

Nope. Spacerocker, he's talking about the fact that terrain can only be modified in a certain range from something like 180 to -180. Jango, I don't know of any way to do that.

Ah, sorry about that I got confused.
Jango, when you say total terain you mean all the terrain in your map right? But with every part staying the same shape? If so the only way I can think of is to lower the terrain in large sections by right clicking and then blending the edges toghether. Hope that helps.

*hits forhead*
Of course! I can't believe I didn't think of that - the largest tool encompasses all the important parts. Thanks a lot, Spacerocker!

No problem.
Off topic: Hey, I just noticed something eerie. We joined on the same day.

Why don't you just set the raise/lower tool to cover the entire map? One press and to lowers everything by the same amount.
