CoD:WaW sold more units than CoD4...
WaW only sold more units than CoD4 because Modern Warfare paved the path for more successful CoD series games. (Without MW, WaW would not have sold, but rather be seen as "another one of those World War games.")
I'm not sure I agree with that. I definitely see what you're saying, but I think that WaW could have easily made it as a great game without MW. In fact, it probably would have gotten all the awards + $$$
Anyways, I don't really like World at War.. I'm more of a modern weapons guy. I love my AK

Most likely they'll be higher, but I don't think that much if you have an nVidia 7000 series or higher. You may have to buy a new card if it's lower than 7000. Sorry, I don't know much about ATI, so I can't offer advise.
CoD4MW's graphics were pretty Diet Dr. Pepper good I don't know how much higher than can go on current technology besides making images sharper with new techniques.

To show it as a new feature in the game?
Probably the most complained thing about the first Modern Warefare title was that when the host quit, that was it, game over. They're showing that thats not an issue any more. Host migration=No more random: Host has left screens.

I'm actually in the process of buying a second hand laptop computer from ebay for this game, and for future titles like Battlefield Bad Company 2. I was thinking a mid range Nvidia 8600M series card will be good enough, as I can't really afford the higher end gaming notebooks with the 9800M series and above . The only problem is you have to upgrade every couple of years as new releases get released.

It'd be cheaper to just buy a 9800GT for $90 and save some cash.
