Ab-Sul-Ral Mappack

...nothing so fancy as the title may indicate. I haven't had a lot of time to really work on anything, but I spent a little time over the past couple weekends revisiting some of my older work. Looking back, I still really like my first two but look at my third (Ralltiir) as more of a concept map that didn't work quite as well in implementation. However, they're all still fun and so I spent some time polishing them up and adding some new stuff to each one. Be sure to check them out, they, and Abraxas Platform especially, are a lot better.

-Sullust: Jedi Conclave
-Ralltiir: Swoop Circuit

This is a touched-up re-release of my first three maps, listed above.
This is essentially a visual and mode content upgrade to the original
set of maps - few changes were made other than those, with the intent
being to preserve the original intent(s) of the maps. In light of this
there are some hallmarks of the beginner in these, but I didn't want to
change too much, because after all, after enough changes, is the Argo
still the Argo?

Installation:

Extract folder "M23" to your addon folder

CHANGELIST

Abraxas:
Touched-up models for space station (higher detail textures)
Upgraded models for Z-95, R-41, Assault Transport
Additional craft added: Assault Gunboat, TIE-Wing, X-TIE
Skydome enhancements
First-person added to vehicles
Third-person views adjusted
Auto-Turret power decreased

Sullust:
Jedi/Sith models/textures visually upgraded
Force power FX added/upgraded
Sith/Republic sides visually matched to Conversion Pack sides
Added CW and GCW team deathmatch

Ralltiir:
Object placement error rectified
Skydome changed
Swoop model upgraded (better collision & firepoint)
Pathing polished
Increased CP/unitcount (to account for map size)
KotOR sides / heroes upgraded to match Conversion Pack
CW conquest added
Conversion Pack users get random legions/heroes in CW conquest

Global:
Satellite shots tweaked
Map filesizes optimized
Download
(Requires 1.3 patch to access all content)

now this is great, especially abraxas, i was always frustrated by the old version because of all that turrets

one problem: map names are missing in the map selection list (there are three empty fields in top of my map list instead of map names)

played only abraxas yet and really loved the improvements, especially the skydome, makes it really different from other maps

You're right, when I compiled them all together into a pack I forgot to update the international localizations. Here's a quick fix:

Place that core.lvl into your "addon\M23\data\_LVL_PC" folder. I'll fix the whole shebang this afternoon.

It's fixed now. Anyone who downloaded it before this post, go ahead and update it with the core.lvl file I posted two posts up, but for everyone else the download is fixed.

If anyone feels like taking some neat pictures for me, I'd be happy to see them. I didn't take a lot of time to go through and take glamour shots of the maps.

btw You should also put this Qickfix to your FF Account.So its not gone in some Weeks/Month. :wink:

Thanks! I don't think the quickfix needs to stay up there, since only the few people who downloaded this first need it. The current download is fixed and doesn't require the quickfix.
