How to create models in XSI and other 3D applications and make them work in Battlefront 1 & 2. Post models, tips for application usage and share anything XSI, 3DMax, SketchUp, etc.
Edit:a new lamborgini model for SWBF that i tweaked up a little bit
Did you make it? If you did not, it doesn't belong in this topic. If you did, you will need to post a wireframe as indicated in the first post.
Train, it's a nice kitbash but remember to be extra-careful to make sure that all your hues are synchronized. At first glance it looks like a kitbash, and if you want to do a really good job, I think it'll be best if you make it look like one coherent model.

I dunno if this counts, but I feel like I ought to post this since it came out pretty well. Its pretty much just a kitbash but I took little pieces from about 7 or 8 weapons and extensively modified them to put this thing together. I drew the idea from a cross between a BAR and an AK47. Tell me what you think.
Thanks guys As for the texturing thing, yeah, I was aware of that. I had only finished putting the model together last night (as that was my goal) and my intention was to tweak the texture colors a bit, fix some of the mapping (which was actually screwed up by LA), and maybe change the barrel so it doesn't look so hexagonal.
Forgive me if I sound like an idiot due to not knowing what I'm talking about but the texture on the shoulder stock looks stretched. Is that down to bad UVing? I havn't used XSI or any other modelling program, so I really have no idea
Hey, looks pretty sweet. The model reminds me of a luger almost. (Btw, how's my rifle model coming? )
Just exported this model, It's my best one I've made so far, due to the realistic textures I got of CGTextures. It is a Nazi HQ for my upcoming map. Could anyone take a guess at where it takes place?

(Note that I did not make the sandbags on this model. Credit goes to user DanGer at ShareCG.com for the sandbags in which I had permission to include in my model.)
Let me know what you think!
@Knight: Love your guns (especially the Naboo pistol) The first one, the texturing looks kinda funny though, like its too lowrez or something. And of course you have some mapping problems.
@Elfie, the bunker is really nice. I think that took a lot of creative effort on your part. The abundant presence of the swastikas though I find, not necessarily offensive but just find it a bit uncomfortable I guess. I guess the best thing you could do is scale down the big one on the roof. The banners really do add a nice touch but its still uncomfortable.

I agree, believe me, the swastikas are disturbing indeed. I just wanted to make it authentic that's all. Swastika banners were present on nearly all nazi bunkers, so it would just look plain and unrealistic if they weren't included. I'm sorry if you were offended by them, though. I'm very against nazis and I only made this so people could have fun blowing them up once I put the map together.
