BF2 Unit Skirts
I noticed in UltimateUnwrap3D that there is a mesh for the skirt on a BF2 model. Is there a way to hex-edit that back into the model so it is visible?

They are visible. Those meshes are the cloth; Unwrap shows you them along with the "normal" mesh.

Yes the cloth is there. There is also a shadowvolume that looks exactly like the regular cloth.
If you want/need to do any cloth hexediting, see my tutorial in the everything you need thread.

What I meant is, the skirt is visible in Unwrap3D, but it doesn't appear in-game in BF1. I want the mesh to appear in Battlefront I

Right, we understand that. But you had already known that there was a cloth mesh there, and I'm not sure what you were trying to say with your first post, because you already knew that cloth meshes didn't work in SWBF1?ggctuk wrote:What I meant is, the skirt is visible in Unwrap3D, but it doesn't appear in-game in BF1. You'd need to re-export the skirt as a static mesh, at the very least, before you could get it to show up.

Re: BF2 Unit Skirts
I might ask Napseeker actually, his Jedi vs Clones mod has BF2 Clones with the skirts intact.
EDIT: I'm wondering if I could hex edit the BF1 Arc Trooper's cape into these files instead.

Re: BF2 Unit Skirts
i thought you could, but i cant find the cape modl chink of the bf1 arc trooper
edit: i found it in the snowtrooper, i think you will need to reference the texture and maybe fix up some other parts but here it is i extracted it from the beginning of its modl chunk to the other modl chunk http://files.filefront.com/IMP+Snowtroo ... einfo.html
if you can make it work please upload the improved modl cunk because i also have a use for it

Actually for the ARC, the skirt and pauldron is one mesh, in the "OverrideTexture2" object section, I believe. So you could in theory copy that from the ARC to the Episode III trooper.
