"Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos"
I'm thinking about getting "Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos" and the "Frozen Throne" expansion. Do any of you own it? Is it a good game? Is it more like World of Warcraft or is it more of an Age of Empires type game? What is it rated T for? Does it have a lot of blood? Does it have good graphics? What species and occupations can you be? I have heard that this game is semi-modable does anyone know to what extents? Would I be better off spending my money on another game? If so what game? I'm really looking forward to this game. I still haven't asked my parents about it yet, but a couple of my friends have it so we'll see. Thanks a lot!

I know it is a RTS setup, but I've never played it.
I do have another game by the same company that i must recommend to you (permitting you don't own the game)
Star Craft. Fun game, balanced teams, very customizable gameplay (as in, really cool/fun custom maps.)
20$ for the original games and the expansion

I have it and I think of all RTS's it's the best! I love it! Its's rated T because the units bleed when they die. The graphics are pretty good for a RTS. You can choose between the Night Elves, the Undead, the Human Alliance and the Orcish Horde. If your into RTS's this is the game for you!
It also has a World Editor. With this tool you can make your own maps, set up custom AI Scripts and MUCH more!

Thanks for the feedback car_gussy! Based on the other reviews that I've read online this game sounds awesome BUT....... its not quite the game I'm looking for.
Are there any games that are like World of Warcraft out there but that don't require you to go online? Like WoW as in you talk to an NPC get a quest, you go finish the quest, the NPC then gives you money and/or an item and then you spend the money on better armor (Oh yeah and it's in a giant world where the Sun goes up and down with the actual time)
If you have any news on a game like this please let me know.
Thanks

Yes, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is exactly what you're looking for. It's rated M (it was originally rated T, but the ESRB is stupid like that) but it's not overly violent at all. Blood can be turned off, and there is no language to speak of. It's a huge game, lots of armor and weapons and dungeons to keep you busy for a long while.

Theres Dungeon Siege 2 its rated M for blood and some gore. It has most of the things your asking for. Its weather changes slightly.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is rated M for some mod that im not willing to talk further about. It is a bit gory (I saw a severed head with brains flowing out once) and creepy sometimes.

Brains flowing out? No. The most graphic thing in the game is the dead body of a certain Dark Brotherhood member, and you don't even have to play those quests. And the mod in question removed character underwear to make them nude. Nothing to get all squeamish about, Achronos. Nobody makes you install mods. :p
Dungeon Siege is kind of... repetitive. Oblivion, Gothic, etc. offer a much more open structure.
