Well, this is not *technically* my first map because I made one before, but that was just a scrapped together dueling-type map meant for online play.

As the name says, both sides are fighting for the bridge. Just an alllll out battle. (The Bridge itself is fairly small compared to other maps, so it's rather hard ) Also, to allow for stratagy there is a tunnel system and a ledge on the walls of the canyon for snipers to have some fun . The tunnel system leads to both "bases" so you can flank and use some strategy.

Completed - 90%
Vehicles - No (too small for vehicles)
Custom skin/classes - the republic/cis have been reskinned with some weapon/class changes. I wanted to leave the Rebels/Imperials sides unchanged so you could play the map like a normal map or with the Republic/CIS custom sides
Map Layout - 100%, but possible minor changes.

I saw that, but I think that's a reason why opening this topic isn't planned out very well. You see:

So, you really should try to get up some screenshots now, otherwise opening this topic is slightly pointless. I mean, nobody can give any advice/criticism on nothing.

This actually looks fun. I love corridor/bridge fights, taking cover and scoring headshots and all. Good work.

Good concept and execution, but it needs a bit more polish.

It could use a 4th CP, simply to flesh it out a bit more. Aside from that the only weak spot I see is that something should be done with the outside walls away from the bridge, as they are rather bland. Other than that I think it looks great.

well there IS a tunnel system going from both bases, however I never really got around to making paths for the AI, but I guess I will and add a 4th CP in the tunnels. Also, it's meant to be in a valley, I tried to spruce it up with the rocks, so I guess I'll just think of more stuff for it.

You could have buildings sticking out of the terrain walls as though they built it right into the terrain. Just a thought.

You could also vary the terrain textures.

The lighting is good because of the ice/snow. Good work! like it

just some quick updates - completely finished the CIS side, replaced the droideka with a BX Commando droid that has stealth (the bothan weapon but lasts far longer and doesn't reveal the character randomly) and a "sub machine gun" its basically a rapid fire, poor aim, high kick, low damage weapon meant for close quarters, plus grenades and a mine. I'm working on added 1flag CTF and 2flag, just gotta finish the scripts. With conquest, I blocked off the tunnels, and for CTF they're open to allow for more stratagy.

Also, I added a "secret" fun zone outside of the map

Looking well thought out for the AI as at usual my friend.

The CIS skins look really nice, you may want to get some "clean" versions of the clone skins so you don't have to follow the default patterns (most noticeable on the sniper, same old pattern only different color).

yeah haha I just remembered that I NEVER reskinned/re-united (lol?) the rep engineer, and I've been like putting it off sub-consciously until I got on vacay, but now I'll definitely remember to do it when I get back lol

Unfortunately, for now, I may be scrapping the CTF... it's given me LOTS of trouble, so I think for now the best thing would be to forget about it and add it later, when I'm more familiar with it. I'll be posting pics of all the sides soon, I just need to finish the HD jettrooper, engy, and sniper

Okay, you have a few problems with the map atm.

1) Localization isn't finished for the Rep side, and the first troop on the list within the CIS side is still called the SuperBattle Droid, which it isn't.

2) With the Rep hero, if you manage to get the award rifle, and you happen to switch weapons, then you can no longer use the Heavy Rifle, and you don't get your award rifle.

3) The last thing is that the other area you have set up to the side of your map is unaccessable, unless you did what I did and flew over the top.

I saw that the shield was over the entrance to the tunnel, and I couldn't find any way to lower the shield.... Sorta dissapointed... I thought that this might of been used for a campaign, but I wasn't sure.


It's a good map so far but could be better if 1) You fix the problems I found, and 2) You possibly make it bigger, maybe one more cp as well.
