Don't say no outright. We're still working on it - BF2 skeletons work in BF1, but we have yet to figure out how to make the animations work (the naming conventions are different).
But if you were after making combo melee weapons like in BF2, you're going to be sadly disappointed because they won't work in BF1.

Going to say depending on the animation. most animatated props will work in swbf if they come from swbf. unit and other skeleton and custom animations may not work

It really depends on whether you mean animations as in multiple animations in a melee unit then no. The best you could ever two is to have two "weapons", one primary, one secondary, then use the secondary button as a second attack.
