Wierd cape-related crash

alright, so this is wierd. I tried adding two modded trooper models to a mod im making, and when i tried it in the game, it crashed? i got this message about the modded episode 3 trooper:

How exactly are these trooper models "modded?" You should post any Severity 3 messages you may have.

i hex-edited the models to include a cape, (in this case the imperial shock trooper and the episode 3 trooper), i did not get any errors of any type!

Are you sure you had hex-edited the capes on correctly? If so, which cape exactly? You should post the units' .odf files and the cape's odf file.

i know i did the first one correctly but the second one is the one im not exactly sure about. heres a pic of the first one:

That's just a reskinned Imperial Shock Trooper model (guy with the rocket).

It could be an issue. With information you had provided, not much can be done to help you out.

well, thats a very easy model to do, you just need to find repsharpshooter's tutorial in a FAQ page

there were no errors at all, but i got a TON of warnings and i dont have a clue why :?

That should do but the second cape .odf file should have this line

instead (this is for the sniper).

oooooooooooooooooooooh, thanks AQT, i feel so stupid now that i didnt do that! lolz! :oops: i knew it would be something simple like that!

EDIT: i did that and it still crashed! what am i doing wrong!!!!! someone get an expert over here!
