- and what games..? I'd bet it's one of those games which were only known in USA...

So basically, your conclusion is that you don't know exactly what you're gonna do because you've got so many drawings?

Btw, I wasn't talking about muscles.. I was talking about the bones. His joints are close to break.. adding further armor doesn't help xD
If you don't have anything worth saying then don't say it. All I see in your post is how his model sucks, when it actually is a great model. You talk as if your models were perfect and you were the best of the best.

By the way, how do you know he isn't sticking with anatomy?First of all you have never even heard of the game he's talking about, so you don't know squat about what is in it. And secondly anatomy changes with every single person, and if this vampire he modeled doesn't match the anatomy that you believe models should have then too bad. Also, I would've tought you knew what a tendon was, after reading your posts I would've tought you were an anatomy expert, and you learn what a tendon is in what... 5th grade?

You could do something different for a change and instead of saying it's complete crap (I've never really seen you compliment someone in these forums) say what's good about it. Always the negative attitude, even if the model is better than you can do you will find something wrong with it, so again, if you ain't got nothing worth saying the don't say it.

After a while your attitude get's really REALLY annoying.

Actually it wasn't q, but an admin. From what it looked like was because it was a flame (like one that is starting now) so he removed it. Q is not from the U.S. or any English speaking country, so his first language is not English. Some words may slip by him. I still teach him some more advanced terms that you normally don't find in a standard ESL class (like medical and slang).

Let's get back on subject guys. I noticed you had the same problem as I do sometimes when I mirror a side. How do you fix that without moving every individual point to make it seamless?

It isn't gonna become a flame war,

I think the model looks great, and yea, sometimes when you symmetrize a model it looks weird, I'm not sure why.

PS: Hawky get on MSN :P

what i did to get it seamless from the start was when i made the very first primitive was i gave it a subdivision down the middle and deleted the other half and created a clone so that when i manipulated 1 mesh the clone would follow then i just typed -1 in the X scaling to mirror it and then froze the scaling but NOT the mesh to preserve the clone properties so that it would make a perfect mirror mesh that would follow the original except it was the other side. also in case you get a seam just select the vertices that are making the gap and just type 0 in the X translation to center it and close the seam in the middle. youll always have a seam though when mirroring unless you delete 1 half and then choose symmetrize polygons so that it mirrors and welds.

Ahh, so you were cloning. Never used that method (Always semetrized the model). I'll try that. Thanks.

yeah just make sure when you type in -1 in the scaling to mirror it that you freeze the scaling afterwards or else all the polygons will be flipped if the scaling is left at -1 for the X axis. i have my backface culling turned on by default so i dont get mixed up so backfaces are see through. i kinda took a break from this for a couple of days but im gonna get back on it tonight and hopefully i can get the shoulder armor modeled and then itlll be done enough for me to take it into ZBrush.
