I believe I already sent mine out but I'll double check just to make sure.

I get the feeling that this is only going to lead to people finding a way to play the game before everyone else. I mean, there aren't many people who actually want to test it, but many who just want to play it.

Agreed. It's been my observation that this is the case pretty much every time an opportunity to beta test something comes up. Heck, just look at the WIP section of our forums.

This can be good for massive releases though, as it provides information on how servers will run and other variables that in-office computers will probably not produce.

But yeah, the WIP forum has tons of those. At least I check every wall for collision.

Their own team based quality and beta team have been playing and feedbacking this title since last Halloween. This is essentially a "throw the almost final game at the diehard and let them iron out hacks, exploits and unbalanced pre live product." a cheap and effective way to get addicted fans early on and get free game feedback.

All I know is I'm a trooper or a bounty hunter and we will gav at least 10 of us in a GT guild in game.

I will certainly be joining once I get the beta. I think my two classes are gonna be Jedi and Bounty Hunter for starters.

I'm hoping I'll be selected for the beta based on my strange computer.

Just kind of a weird setup. 64-bit Vista with a 32-bit graphics card, and a fair deal of ram.

Sorry gang, but it looks like I wont be participating in the beta. I forgot about the whole age limit thing so it looks I'm gonna have to wait till next Spring to play it.

Hmm, I like that idea. I have 4 pcs at my house...

I've just signed up today. I'm not really a massive MMO fan having only played Guild Wars before for a short while, but anything to do with Star Wars or KOTOR gets my interest. It would probably be better if it was an RPG like KOTOR but nevermind.

It seems that the beta is now available to those who were chosen (like this guy). Be sure to check your emails to see if you were.

There will be a few rounds of testing, so even if you weren't chosen yet, there's a chance you may be chosen later.

Edit: I could have sworn the agreement testers had to sign specified that they weren't allowed to post screenshots or videos (yes, I actually read the agreement before I signed up).
