Is it possible to create a floodlight and/or a nightscope
I've always wanted to create a nearly pitch black map where units can use a floodlight that can be turned on and off (the off setting can help you not to be seen) and and have the scope on the Sniper rifle have night vision (a green background, and the units & vehicles are shown in an orange-red color, like it's detecting their heat.) please let me know if this is possible, it would be great to try out in a map

You know, I ended up deciding that if I include that it probably won't be a major feature; I would want my map to be fun for any level of detail, since there are some computers that can't handle high lighting settings. Just my own opinion on that.
I had actually made a test-map a long time ago that had a battle in almost pitch-darkness, and flashlights (as well as flares, lightgrenades ala FragMe, etc.) were used to light up the terrain. It was...okay, but not really that fun - the AI are unaffected by darkness, and it neccesitated high light settings. I'd personally advise against that, but it's your choice.
