Force push effectively against props?
Is there a way to make props & vehicles moveable with force push and pull?

I don't think so.

Re: Force push effectively against props?
In a convoluted, tedious, and imperfect way? Yes, I did it once.
I made it so that these crates could be pushed by force push/pull. They weren't props though, they were actually units spawned in. They had issues though, and it couldn't be improved on.
It's not really worth all the work it took, but it was an interesting experiment.

I'd toyed around with this also about a year and a half ago. You basically make a unit with zero movement speed and no animations, then spawn them in via LUA ambushes or whatever you like. I wouldn't say it's not worth all the work it takes, since it didn't actually take much work, just some toying around with ODFs, but it's true that it's buggy. Maybe you'd want to include them somewhere, but not as a main feature.
That's for props, at least. Vehicles, I'm not sure about.

I don't believe there's any released map that uses this, though I think Wulf posted a video of the unit-props on his XFire somewhere.

I used to have the video, pretty sure I deleted it because of reasons.
I called it a hassle because we also enveloped the crates so they'd tumble around and I also spent a lot of time trying to fix the bugs. If you don't bother with either it isn't all that much work though, you're right.

Re: Force push effectively against props?
I believe I ended up enveloping the entire prop mesh to the pelvis bone or whatever, and gave it the standard unit tumble animation - but yeah, you could make a custom skeleton/animation set if you want.
