I'm back after a long vacation, with a question about if a certain idea that was demonstrated in BF2 is possible in BF1.
Is it possible to script a mission lua a certain way to generate a random skydome (as seen in many mods, ie. Wulfman's TCW mod), or random clone/stormtroper legion/ or random variant of anything in SWBF1?

Despite how limited SWBF1 lua is, you can still be the first to try it and see. Here's the Random Sky/Fx/Lighting Tutorial for SWBF2.

So in my spare time I've discoverd the followng,
-the Random Legion script does not work no matter how you try to implement it. an SWBF1 lua can only run Function ScriptInit or whatever once in a mission script.
-I've yet to try this random weather/sky/lighting but i have my doubts. i don't think SWBF1 supports the "math.random" function and the script has some SWBF2-specific commands (i think)
