How do you reenable Decals?

Maxloef (i love ur star trek: Legacy mods) brought up an interesting point in the Content cut from BF1 forums. He said that the decals can be reenabled. I would love to know how to do this, so if anyone could inform me, i would like to know.

what do you mean with decals? dont find a good translation, which would fit to swbf...

he stated in the previously mentioned thread, "heres one for ya, Decals
Like Blastmarks and footprints ;), these can be reenabled ive done it looks really cool, doesnt work for swbf 2 though code was ripped."

It's just an .odf parameter, fellas. It's loaded by default (it would appear) in stock SWBF1 worlds; all you need to do is add in the correct parameter in your explosion .odfs. Just do some looking around your own assets; this shouldn't be tough to figure out.

Well think, decals are a part of the explosion, right? So, maybe look in that area..
