Question about water

Post by Eggman »

I have two bodies of water in a map, and I want them to operate as though they have different properties, in particular how much each one bobs up and down. However, I can't seem to make them act independently from each other. Is it possible to do this, or does each body of water have to act the same?

I don't believe it's possible, as the type water is defined in the .fx, and there doesn't seem to be a function that assigns different bodies water to different sections of the fx

I don't remember exactly but when I first started here there was a topic about waves and I think someone said you could use the Kamino Water FXs to create waves and determine there heights. I might be wrong though :|

Alright, thanks. Guess I'll just have to find some way to work around it.
