Star Wars Republic 22D Latvian Legion mod

Okay this is the next version of my mod it is done over 60% but there is a problem with the DC-15 look:

this unit is the new clone commander :)



the DC-15 skin is looking normal in third person but in first person it has the blaster rifle skin and another DC-15 not far away look

and this is my new clone trooper skin:

And the changes are:
New Clone commander skin.
All clones have DC-15 carbines.
The Sniper has stealth.
New skins for all other troops and some stuff will be added later :)
And please help with the DC-15 carbine...

but can you help me with the dc-15 please it looks very clumzy.

EDIT: but did you see the another dc-15 carbine in the first screen that looked a bit s***** :(

Hey, those are some nice skins you're crankin out!

The reason that the first person skin is like that is that the first person texture is wrong.
Find the rep_1st_weap_something.tga and edit that.

1: no FPS model (check the ODF, if your using a custom one then if you haven't you need to copy and past the FPS folder from the modtools over to the addon folders)
2: floating weapon icon, can use FragMes tutorial to fix it or my tutorial to remove it.

PS: nice clone trooper texture, nice and simple.

EDIT: Ithink thats relly a good idea to give the sniper stealth...

The skin is nice and simple because i made the regular white trooper and painted it gray in photoshop :)

On the DC-15A in FPM, what entry do you have in your carbine's odf for "HighResGeometry ="? It should call for either the high resolution version of the model, or simply the same model as "GeometryName =", which are both under "Properties". The HighRes line calls for the weapon you see in first-person.

Now, does the clone in the pics have it's first-person line set in it's odf? If not, set one. It can be a custom, or default fpm, just so long as the files are set up for it. You'll need this if you want the hands and arms. heh

Btw, I've noticed a lot of people get the DC-15 designations confused. :P

DC-15A = the big rifle in Ep. 2
DC-15S = carbine from Ep. 3
DC-15s = pistol (from where?)

Actually the carbine was also seen in Ep2. And the DC-15 A was seen in both. Just that we saw more of one in both movies.

Anyways, the mod looks nice so far, keep it up.

The point of this was to associate the weapon designation with the film (or whatever) in which it's most noticeable, for simplicity. The details aren't really relevant to that end.

So, have there been any developments regarding the first person troubles?

okay i have a new problem d*** the sniper is now the clone commando but i dont know where to put the sound for the DC-17 Rifle help please...

Guys i have a bad new i need to remake the mod because my PC crashed and i lost all my files :evil: i will soon begun to make this again but it will be much better than this :)
