I have been trying to be a informative and informed person over at the SWBF 1 General forum,
and although I'm not to good at modding yet I was wondering how I can help out more and
learn more about modding?
I have read a lot of tutorials, but I know there must be more info / tutorials / ways to help answer other peoples questions, and therefore I posted this question about how to "advance" my modding / "Admin" ability.
TY for your time and any answers that are posted

No one likes to hear it, but the best way is practice.
If you've read all the tutorials, read them again, along with all the documentation and psych0fred's site of course.

The staff put together some words of advice for the community HERE. It's nothing terribly specific, but should help you get an idea about what makes great modders.

Cool, Thanks for the link.
I think I've seen that tread somewhere before, but now that I know about it I'll refer to it often.
LOL, in the tread someone said to have a test map and I have one, it's purple and snowing and there's an ocean surrounding the main part of the map

Read, follow tutorials, read, make your maps, read, experiment with new things, read, teach others (posting solutions) and keep reading.
Have you read through all of the SWBF1 posts? Up until last year, I had read every SWBF2 related post on Gametoast, except the modeling and WIP related forms.

Wow, I like your idea, but I don't have that kind of time to waste!
It would be great if I could though
